Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Nicholas Wade Bittinger who was born in Winfield, Kansas on April 14, 1987. Nick passed away on February 13, 2005 at the age of 17 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  Nick grew up and attended Winfield public schools until the 8th grade.  His Freshman year he attended Central High School in Burden, Kansas.  While there, he lettered in track, football and played basketball. Nick was a Senior this year and his credits were enough to allow him to graduate with his class, thanks in large part to the staff of Burden High School. He loved to ride bikes and there wasn't a stunt that he was afraid of.  Nick had a love for auto mechanics, his two truck's, and especially the "New System" he had just installed.  He loved to make sure he could hear his music (as well as the people who lived a mile away.)  But most of all, he loved his family. Our hearts are broken, but never empty.  Nick and his sister Angie will remain in our hearts forever.  We may have lost another loving member of our family, but we now have two guardian angels.  Good night sweet Nick and Angie. We will all be together again someday and until then, take care of each other and please watch over us.
